AdStudio Express

AdStudio Express is an online content management software program for AdQue® Systems. An easy-to-use filmstrip layout allows you to place a sequence of items in the exact order that you want them to appear on your AdQue® displays. This sequence is called a StoryBoard.

StoryBoards

StoryBoard items include Flash animations, static JPG images, full-motion videos, and more. Even MP3 audio files are StoryBoard items - they play in the background while the visual items appear on the screen. AdStudio lets you create as many StoryBoards as you want. Use specialty StoryBoards for one-time offers or for that open house for the VIPs. Create an after-hours StoryBoard that gives contact information or provides your normal business hours. Put a training video in a StoryBoard and use it when training new employees. A StoryBoard is essentially a repeating image list. When the last item in a StoryBoard sequence is shown, it's followed by the first item in the StoryBoard.

StoryBoard Special Features

AdStudio provides total control over every item in the StoryBoard. Control features include the following:

• Duration time
• Date and time for first appearance
• Date and time for last appearance

• Automatic insertion of approved images with the proper image orientation.

Scheduling

An AdQue® System uses a schedule file to control which StoryBoard is playing on which display at any given time. AdStudio Express has a Schedule Storyboards interface that lets you create a schedule for AdQue®. You can have the same StoryBoard play all day, every day, or you can schedule individual StoryBoards to play on specific dates, days of the week, hours of the day, and more.

Publish

The Schedule Storyboards interface feature lets you drag and drop a StoryBoard onto a head. You can also use the Grouping feature to group heads and drop a StoryBoard to all heads in a group at once. The sophisticated internal tracking capabilities of AdStudio Express will keep track of any changes, additions, and deletions you have made to StoryBoards, schedules and image files. When you open the Schedule Storyboards interface, you simply click the Publish Selected Heads button, and the software takes care of the details.

On the Published Storyboards tab you can review all published StoryBoards on a head-by-head basis. Review what is currently playing, or select a different time and date to see what has played or will play in the future.

AdTV

If you have purchased AdQTV with your AdQue® System, you can schedule TV to play at any time during the day. Television scheduling is done within the TV Scheduler tool on the AdQue Site Management page. Here, you create a regular schedule for television shows. Is a local sports team going to the semi-finals? Add a Special Programs entry for the big game and let everybody root the team on.
